During seasonal changes, such as in late Autumn and early Winter, we may offer a combination of Autumn and Winter experiences, depending on the weather.

ONLY FOR THE TWO OF YOU
This is a getaway only for the two of you. You will have private use of the sauna as well as a relaxing massage. As a cherry on top, you will be enjoying a dinner date by the fire in the silent wintry forest under the stars. And as for the ultimate romantic bucket list item: accommodation in your own glass-roofed Aurora cabin!
 
ACTIVITIES AND AURORA HUNTING

The daytime adventures include breathtaking arctic nature experiences; a snowmobile safari, a reindeer sledge ride with a small group and a private husky safari. The package contains one special private activity, designed for couples. It is a very special dinner date that takes you on a journey up the fells in a heated sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. A 3-course dinner – complete with sparkling wine – will be set for you by an open fire as you wait for the northern lights to appear.

If you wish, it is possible to book an additional (separately priced) aurora hunt. (Autumn variation: 3 private experiences: Aurora Camp by Lake, National Park Hike, Aurora Camp by Border).
 
MAKE IT YOURS
The schedule is planned so that you will have plenty of time for yourselves. You can, for example, book other activities, enjoy Saariselkä nightlife or see the surrounding nature on your own. Or just relax in the aurora cabin – whatever you and your partner wish.
After a day of arctic adventures, wrap up in a blanket with your loved one and fling yourselves on the bed under the Milky Way and the North Star. Tonight, the Northern Lights will flame.

Children policy

Infants and toddlers up to 3 years of age stay for free. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 are offered a discount of 50%. From the age of 15 onwards, the full adult price is charged. You may add an infant as the 5th person in your cabin as long as no extra bed is required.

Pets policy

Pets are accepted. Additional charges may apply.

Cancellation

A deposit of 20% is charged at the time of booking and the remaining 80% will automatically be charged 60 days prior to arrival. Each paid deposit is non-refundable.

Sub-zero temperatures ensure there’s plenty of snow and outdoor fun for the whole family! The sun is only up for a few hours, making the Winter a great time to view Northern Lights. Cold nights tend to have a clear sky, with green, purple and red shades of the Aurora Borealis!
